Our gas burning stoves use direct vent technology. This pipe-within-a-pipe system is used to bring fresh air into the stove for combustion through the outer pipe while it vents exhaust to the outside through the inner pipe. Each section of pipe has a twist lock connection on each end to ensure leak-tight connections. Adjustable elbow maintains 90 degree angle when aligning it. Direct vent technology is a great solution for homes that are very tight and normally suffer from poor draft, moisture build up, etc
