Double-walled stovepipe (or Close Clearance pipe) is another type of connector pipe that allows for reduced clearances to combustible surfaces. The close clearance pipe we sell can be installed within 6” of a combustible surface. Best uses for close clearance pipe are 1) when your pipe will be in close proximity to a combustible wall, 2) if you will have 10' or more of vertical pipe inside the room with your stove. Double-wall pipe cannot penetrate a ceiling or a wall.
